History:
“Awareness is light and Ignorance is darkness of human life.”
On June 13, 1967, the work of earning of knowledge (Gyan) in a poor cottage was started by collecting 4 children and 2 girls.
The first word of its nomenclature is "Gyan" and the site of its launch, a temple of Bhoiwara's poor settlement (Mandir of Lord Dharmaraj ji), hence the second word of its naming "Mandir", and thus it becomes "Gyan Mandir".
As a result of the diligence, dedication and integrity of our teachers, the second branch after Bhoiwara was deployed in Sector-4, Hiran Magri on 7 th April 1976 and the third branch has been functioning in ‘Dhol Ki Paati’ on the Udaipur-Salumbar road since 15 th March 2001.
Along with we started "Satya" Sanyasashram on February 15, 2003 for the convenience of catering to the ignored elderly people.

Mission
The main aim of the school is to educate the children of the poorer sections of the society as well as to make them so efficient and capable that they can rise above the curse of their poverty and become self-reliant and contribute to the nation-building.
Vision
We are committed to provide best education to our students, as well as for their physical, mental, intellectual and ethical development. Our oath is to make our students so strong in their own right that they, like being a Jyotipunj and Spark, remain clumsy and overcome all the obstacles, while avoiding disorders like inhumanity, indecision, corruption, immorality and indolence. Facilities:
The school has always been looking forward to giving good education to the students as well as for their multifaceted development and giving them an excellent environment. There is a wide and open airy corridor for the convenience of students outside the classrooms. There is a separate place for small children to play. There are separate laboratories for physics, chemistry and computer. There are different sports grounds for sports such as volleyball, basket-ball, hand-ball, badminton, kho-kho and kabaddi. There are green, large shady trees and many other types of plants. Apart from the curriculum, there is also a rich library for raising interest in children, in which about 4000 books are available. Smart-classes are available for facilitating education with the help of modern technology. In addition to all this, classes are organized separately to refine the interest in music, arts, handicrafts and crafts.
Library:
All the students and teachers have an open access of a rich library to read something new, to awaken the desire to learn something new, in which about 4000 books are available. There are many books available like novels, poems, stories, articles, biographies of great men, autobiographies, religious texts and many other books on various topics which are written by different authors. Many students who go to the next class voluntarily submit their textbooks in this library so that such books could be provided free of cost to poor students.

Transportation:
Bus facility is available for students and teachers to get to the school conveniently and safely from every corner of the city. At present, a total of 7 buses are moving on different routes. We are providing bus facility at very reasonable cost to students and teachers who voluntary choose the option of bus.
Faculty:
Our teachers are our pride. The teachers here are not only paid employees but they are determined to give a better future to the students. Due to such a remarkable passion and dedication of the teachers here, the result of the school has been 100% in the board exams for the past several years. At present, a total of 70 teachers are offering their services in all three schools.
